Signal Mountain had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 40-point drubbing they dealt Hixson on Friday. The Signal Mountain Eagles blew past the Hixson Wildcats 74-34. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Signal Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points over those games. As for Hixson, their loss was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-22.
