Clermont Northeastern's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Cincinnati Country Day as they made off with a 15-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Jenna Brown was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Addisyn Baker was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Bella Wilson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Clermont Northeastern was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Blanchester's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 22-5 to Williamsburg. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Blanchester has suffered since April 16th.
Alayna Davenport made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Strange, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Blanchester's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Clermont Northeastern, their record is now 8-10.
Clermont Northeastern couldn't quite get it done against Blanchester in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 9-4. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
