Serra is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Los Alamitos is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Serra Cavaliers will take on the Los Alamitos Griffins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Serra walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 48-14 win over Bishop Amat at home. 48 seems to be a good number for Serra as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

One of the most notable came from Cincere Rhaney, who rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Zacharyus Williams was another key contributor, picking up 150 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Serra's defense and their 4.5 sacks. In that department, Khary Wilder was the leader with 2.5 sacks.
Meanwhile, even though Upland scored an imposing 31 points on Friday, Los Alamitos still came out on top. Los Alamitos blew past Upland 56-31.
Serra is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Los Alamitos, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
