Adding to the longest winning streak in B District 4 (8 Man) this week, Wetumka beat Gans 60-26. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Wetumka led the league in scoring this week by notching 60 points on the Grizzlies. Chase Williams ran for 107 yards in the win.
Davenport's dynamic duo of Hunter Reed and Kaycee Funk proved to be unstoppable against Strother, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Reed threw for 142 yards and 3 touchdowns and Funk had 77 yards receiving. Cade Harelson helped Davenport's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 43 yards.
He went 9-17 with 0 interceptions.
Noah Nickell made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bulldogs beat the Yellowjackets. He pulled down 1 interception.
Waymon Potts' team's Jake Briggs and Williams led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Briggs has thrown for 1,366 yards this season, while Williams has 25 catches for 468 yards. Strother's Kaleb Kerley leads the league in rushing yards with 1,746.
The most important game in B District 4 (8 Man) this week will be the match up between Dewar and Weleetka. The Dragons enters the contest ranked 21st in the state, while the Outlaws ranks 25th.
