There's no place like home for Ridgeline, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Sky View Bobcats with a sharp 9-0 win on Tuesday. The Riverhawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.
Brielle Gardiner was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. In other batting news, Ava Buttars was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. Kennedy Dahlke also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
