The Villages Charter won the last time they faced Columbia, and Zion Mcrae did her part to make sure it happened again. The Villages Charter Buffalo came out on top against the Columbia Tigers by a score of 64-51 on Saturday thanks in part to Mcrae, who went 12 for 25 on her way to 37 points and four steals. Those 37 points gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Herva Brutus, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played.

The Villages Charter is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Columbia, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

The Villages Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-38 defeat against Wildwood on the 20th. Columbia has also already played their next match, a 55-29 win against Buchholz on the 23rd.
