They really took it to Fayette Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-32 win at home. Mills Terry was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Smith, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Jackson Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They secured a 78-73 W over Sacred Heart of Jesus. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
University School of Jackson's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Jackson Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
University School of Jackson came up short against Jackson Christian in their previous matchup on January 5th, falling 49-44. Can University School of Jackson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
