Intrinsic is 0-3 against Foreman since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Intrinsic Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Foreman Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Intrinsic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
On Tuesday, Intrinsic ended up a good deal behind Farragut and lost 43-24.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from America Escalera, who scored 12 points. That was a full 50% of Intrinsic's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dezanique Riley, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Foreman stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Wells 38-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Foreman has posted since November 30, 2023.
Intrinsic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Foreman, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Intrinsic came up short against Foreman when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 30-22. Can Intrinsic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
