Chester Charter Scholars Academy and Sankofa Freedom Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Chester Charter Scholars Academy had to settle for second. They took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors. The Sabers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Nafis Dubose, who went 10-for-19 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds for Sankofa Freedom Academy. Another player making a difference was Nasir Brown, who posted ten points and five boards.

Chester Charter Scholars Academy's loss dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, they pushed their record up to 18-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
