Christian Martinez posted a new career-low in walks on Monday. Francis W. Parker had no answer to Martinez as he struck out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). Martinez also tossed no walks, which is notable because Lake Forest Academy is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-9 otherwise.

Martinez's effort led Lake Forest Academy over Francis W. Parker and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
