In what's become a running theme this season, the Quinter Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They really took it to Wheatland-Grinnell for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-27 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Quinter sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Quinter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Shea Salyers out in front who scored 16 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trace Kinderknecht, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Quinter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quinter will challenge Rawlins County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Quinter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 186 points over their last three contests. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they will head out on the road to square off against Golden Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Wheatland-Grinnell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday.
