The Fletcher Senators gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 62-7 victory over Impact Christian Academy. With Fletcher ahead 37-4 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fletcher to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasmine Cross, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals. Mikiah Sloan was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Fletcher's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Impact Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fletcher will square off against First Coast at 7:00 p.m. on November 29th. As for Impact Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Eagle's View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
