Redwood is 9-1 against Golden West since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rangers will host the Trailblazers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Golden West will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Redwood extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Rangers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against Monache.

Redwood let Aubrie Jenkins and Kenzie Cantu run wild. Jenkins went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Cantu got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave Jenkins a new career-high.
Redwood hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Golden West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Porterville on Thursday, sneaking past 4-3. The Trailblazers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Kirsten Williams was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Redwood's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Golden West, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9-1.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Redwood hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .343. However, it's not like Golden West struggles in that department as they've averaged .316. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Redwood's way against Golden West in their previous matchup back in April, as Redwood made off with a 16-0 win. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Trailblazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
