After flying high against the Twin City Christian Academy Eagles last Tuesday, the Victory Christian Academy Chargers came back down to earth. Victory Christian Academy fell to Crosspoint Christian 53-49. Victory Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crosspoint Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Jace Stroup continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crosspoint Christian, scoring 23 points along with six steals and five assists. Asher Weldy was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Crosspoint Christian, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crosspoint Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Crosspoint Christian, they will head out on the road to take on New Life Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
