Penns Manor owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 22-0 margin over Portage. The result was nothing new for Penns Manor, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Amin Lieb was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Purchase Line can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. Everything went their way against Homer-Center as Purchase Line made off with a 42-22 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Purchase Line.
Brock Small had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Small was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards. Jaylin Robertson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Penns Manor's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Purchase Line, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

However, it's not like Purchase Line struggles in that department as they've been averaging 220.6 per game. It's looking like Friday's game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
Everything came up roses for Penns Manor against Purchase Line when the teams last played back in August of 2022 as the team secured a 32-0 win.
