Smyrna can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They blew past the Cane Ridge Ravens 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Smyrna was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Kierstan Blocker paced Smyrna's offense, picking up 11 kills. Blocker got some help from Ava Francis and her 32 assists. Emma Brooks controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Smyrna's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Cane Ridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Smyrna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against LaVergne on the 6th. As for Cane Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Overton on the 2nd.
