After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Hills, the Serrano Diamondbacks were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Burroughs by a score of 61-48. For Serrano, this counts as revenge for the 52-48 loss the Burros walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Several Burros players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dominic Sellers, who scored ten points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Jeffrey Brady, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Serrano has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season. As for Burroughs, they dropped their record down to 12-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Serrano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Burroughs also has no future games currently scheduled.
