WPIAL AAA Northeastern recap November 13, 2013
Franklin Regional extended the longest winning streak in WPIAL AAA Northeastern this week by beating West Mifflin, 14-12. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Indiana lost to West Allegheny 38-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Knoch's Daniel Farinelli and James Larrimer have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Farinelli has thrown for 1,175 yards this season, while Larrimer has 24 catches for 451 yards. Mars's Joshua Schultheis leads the league in rushing yards with 1,561.
Franklin Regional and the Titans played the most contested game in the league this week, with Franklin Regional eventually emerging with a 14-12 victory. Charan Singh threw for 39 yards and ran for 91 yards in the win.
