River Valley have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They steamrollered Clay Central-Everly 65-0. River Valley were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped River Valley's record up to 2-4. Clay Central-Everly are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week River Valley take on Kingsley-Pierson at 7:00 PM. Unlike River Valley, Kingsley-Pierson will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Clay Central-Everly, they will face off against Ar-We-Va. Clay Central-Everly stagger into the contest hobbled by six consecutive losses while Ar-We-Va skip in buoyed by six consecutive wins.
