After a string of five wins, the Jurupa Valley Jaguars's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Indian Springs. Jurupa Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Indian Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on January 9th.
Indian Springs had a senior duo take command as Adorian Cherry scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and five assists and Jordan Culberson scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Cherry pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Camba, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and five assists.
Jurupa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Indian Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-13 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jurupa Valley will take on Pacific at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rubidoux at 6:15 p.m.
