Ricky Gutierrez posted a new career-high in runs on Tuesday. He scored three runs while going 2-for-4, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Gutierrez's strong effort led Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy over Silver Valley and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy is 8-2 against Silver Valley going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
