Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Casa Roble's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

After only two runs in their last match, Casa Roble made sure to put some runs up on the board against Natomas on Tuesday. The Rams were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over the Nighthawks. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Casa Roble got a massive performance out of Melanie Stephens, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. What's more, Stephens posted three hits, the most she's had since back in February. Gianna Giannini was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Casa Roble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .864. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Natomas only posted an OBP of .381.

Casa Roble has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Natomas, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

As of now, neither Casa Roble nor the Nighthawks have any future games scheduled.
