Meanwhile, Sheridan Hills Christian came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 75-60 win over Highlands Christian.
Sheridan Hills Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Micah Smith led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. AJ Seay was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Dade Christian now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
Dade Christian beat Sheridan Hills Christian 66-56 when the teams last played back in January of 2019.
