The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Lakeview Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. Hopefully Lanier Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Lanier Christian Academy came up short against St. John Bosco Academy and fell 43-36.
Despite the defeat, Lanier Christian Academy got a solid performance out of Emma Flowers, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals. The match was Flowers' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jia Thapar, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Lakeview Academy waltzed into Tuesday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Prince Avenue Christian with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.
Their wins bumped Lanier Christian Academy to 2-3 and St. John Bosco Academy to 3-1.
