After losing to Fannindel the last time they met, Savoy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Savoy Cardinals blew past the Fannindel Falcons 40-8 on Friday. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Savoy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points over those games. As for Fannindel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-17.

Savoy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fannindel, they will face off against Avinger at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Avinger's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Fannindel's offense will have their work cut out for them.
