Eastwood Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season two weeks ago. They took a serious blow against Evangel Christian Academy, falling 55-20.
Meanwhile, Valiant Cross Academy came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Lee-Scott Academy by a score of 72-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Deshawn Hall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. Hall is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was John Cosby, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Eastwood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Valiant Cross Academy, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
