The Montgomery Tigers lost against the Hornbeck Hornets back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Montgomery fell to Hornbeck 56-51. Montgomery has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was A Manson, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds. D. Moore was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hornbeck, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montgomery will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Winnfield at 5:00 p.m. on November 28th. Hornbeck will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
