The Pee Dee Academy Eagles took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They breezed by King's Academy at home to the tune of 55-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pee Dee Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Pee Dee Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Trussell, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists. Hughes Elvington was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Pee Dee Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for King's Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Pee Dee Academy will head out on the road to face off against Marlboro Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Williamsburg Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
