The Bartlett Hawks will head out on the road to  square off against  the Elmwood Park Tigers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Bartlett is coming into the  game hot, having won their last five games.
While Bartlett's  win against Elgin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks won by a  run and slipped past the Maroons  4-3.

 Bartlett  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Elmwood Park made easy work of Fenton  on Tuesday and carried off  an  11-1 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won four in a row.
 Waijdy El Halabi made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Elmwood Park let  Leon Solarczyk and  Anthony Huaman run wild. Solarczyk  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Huaman  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Huaman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Salvatore Labarbera, who  went 1-for-3 with three  runs.
 Elmwood Park's record now sits at 8-9. As for Bartlett,  the  victory  got them back to even at 13-13-1.
