Softball Recap: Paso Robles' Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Paso Robles had lost six games straight , but after bumping their record up to 10-11-1 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Atascadero Greyhounds. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 12-10 win on April 3rd.

As for Atascadero, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14. The defeat was just more heartbreak for they who fell 12-10 when the teams previously met back in March.

For Atascadero's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Bedell, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Coming up, Paso Robles will head out to take on Templeton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Atascadero, they will square off against Orcutt Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
