The Yosemite Badgers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Sierra Chieftains  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Yosemite has given up an average of 9.1  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Yosemite is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Minarets  last Friday. The Badgers walked away with  a   17-12  win over the Mustangs. The Badgers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Yosemite got a  massive  performance out of  Jadyn Johnson, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs and one  RBI.  Natalie Misa was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run.
Meanwhile, Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  an  11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Minarets. Surprisingly, this marked the Chieftains' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
  Abby Bays and  Lexie Valle did some serious damage despite the final result:  Bays  went 4-for-5 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI, while  Valle  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with four  runs. That  triple was  Bays' first of the season.
 Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Yosemite, the  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5.
