Vista PEAK Prep is 9-1 against Rangeview since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bison will welcome the Raiders at 4:15 p.m. Vista PEAK Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Vista PEAK Prep came up short against Northfield and fell 4-1. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vista PEAK Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Brancato, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Rangeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-4 to Northfield.

William Stevenson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Vista PEAK Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rangeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Vista PEAK Prep has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Rangeview struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Vista PEAK Prep took their victory against Rangeview when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-2 score. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
