Highland has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Kendrick Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Highland, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-29 loss to Deary.
Meanwhile, Kendrick stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Nezperce 71-21 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Kendrick has posted since December 7, 2023.
Kendrick found their leader in underclassman Ralli Roetcisoender, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Roetcisoender has scored all season. Ty Koepp was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Highland's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Kendrick, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Highland was taken down by Kendrick 74-21 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Kendrick's Nathan Tweit, who scored 21 points along with five steals. Now that Highland knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
