 In other batting news,  Gwen Leith was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Campbell Garvey, who  went 1-for-3 with a  triple and a  run.
 Bothell's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Issaquah,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 11-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bothell will  face off against North Creek at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. North Creek will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Bothell surely won't give up without a fight. As for Issaquah, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Woodinville at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Issaquah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season.
