Toppenish will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Zillah at 7:00 PM. Toppenish have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Zillah are surely hoping to exploit.
After a string of five wins, Toppenish's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They have to be aching after a bruising 0-34 defeat to Prosser. Toppenish were down by 0-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Zillah and La Salle, but Zillah stepped up in the second half. Zillah came out on top against La Salle by a score of 21-7. The win was familiar territory for Zillah, who now have six in a row.
Zillah's victory lifted them to 6-0 while Toppenish's loss dropped them down to 5-2. We'll find out if Zillah can add another positive mark to their record or if Toppenish can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Zillah's step.
