The Father Capodanno Grunts waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat New Life Christian Academy 54-7 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Father Capodanno, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Luke Moon was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedon Hudson, who scored four points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Father Capodanno's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-15. As for New Life Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Father Capodanno won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Star Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Father Capodanno is facing Star Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Star Christian Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for New Life Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Winston-Salem Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th.
