The Enderlin Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their eighth straight loss. Their rough 59-34 loss to Maple Valley might stick with them for a while. Enderlin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Maple Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Enderlin lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ayden Glarum, who scored six points along with nine rebounds. Glarum also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karson Gruba, who scored seven points.
Enderlin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Maple Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Enderlin will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Maple River at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Maple River is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Maple Valley will take on Enderlin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
