After flying high against St. Martin's Episcopal last Friday, Varnado came back down to earth. Varnado took a hard 6-24 fall against West St. John. Varnado's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.
Varnado's loss pushes them down to 1-7. The win bumped West St. John's record up to 7-2.
The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Next week Varnado will take on Houma Christian at 7:00 PM. West St. John will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against St. Martin's Episcopal in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
