After each having a week off, the Community School of Naples Seahawks and the Northside Christian Mustangs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northside Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Community School of Naples, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Community School of Naples blew past Evangelical Christian, posting a 56-21 victory. The Seahawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 28 points or more this season.

Jayvian Tanelus produced another solid performance rushing for 217 yards and four TDs on only 11 carries. Tanelus is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 110 every time he's taken the field this season. Caden DiLoreto was another key player, rushing for 75 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Community School of Naples was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 374 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evangelical Christian only rushed for 66.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Community School of Naples, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Nick Renteria, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Northside Christian came up short against Lakeland Christian last Friday and fell 28-18.
Community School of Naples' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points over those games. As for Northside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Everything came up roses for Community School of Naples against Northside Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 28-0 win. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
