The Wayne Valley Indians can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Passaic Valley as Wayne Valley made off with a 64-40 win. With Wayne Valley ahead 42-21 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Anthony Apicella continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Caden Flower, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Wayne Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Passaic Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
Wayne Valley will take on Morris Knolls at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Passaic Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Wayne Hills at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
