Jordyn Griffin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Griffin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kabreyia Covington, who scored seven points along with 16 rebounds.
North Central bumped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.5 points per game. As for Central, their victory ended a 13-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Central will take on York Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Chesterfield at 6:15 p.m. on January 26th.
