Durango won the last time they faced Doral Academy Red Rock and things went their way on Monday too. Durango put the hurt on Doral Academy Red Rock with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Trailblazers this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-20.

Miguel Villa Tovar paced Durango's offense, picking up 16 kills. Villa Tovar got some help from Jonathan Morales and his 26 assists. Morales was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Durango and bumps their season record up to 6-9. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-5 Doral Academy Red Rock and 5-9 Bonanza. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
