Central Catholic came out on top against Wauseon on Thursday thanks in part to Beau Gardner's efforts. Gardner wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. The pitching appearance was his third straight with five or more strikeouts.
