Tri-Cities is 4-0 against the Knights since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tri-Cities Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Midtown Knights at 7:30 p.m. Tri-Cities knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully the Knights likes a good challenge.
Even though Mays scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Tri-Cities still came out on top. Tri-Cities slipped by the Raiders 61-60.
Tri-Cities found their leader in underclassman Tre Keith, who scored 25 points. Keith hasn't dropped below 16 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden London, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Midtown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Creekside, posting a 81-50 win on the road. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for Midtown this season.
Tri-Cities' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-8. As for Midtown, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.
Tri-Cities beat the Knights 74-64 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tri-Cities since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
