Havelock gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 51-14 victory over the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs. With the Rams ahead 37-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Havelock was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 455 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wallace-Rose Hill only gained 270.
Havelock's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut ZyKing Patillo. Another thorn in Wallace-Rose Hill's side was Christopher Bispham, who picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (5.0 for loss).
Despite the defeat, Wallace-Rose Hill had strong showings from Jamarae Lamb, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown, and Jamari Carr, who gained 86 total yards and a touchdown.
