The North Creek Jaguars suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 93-48 loss at the hands of Mount Si. North Creek has struggled against Mount Si recently, as their match on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
North Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Silas Woodward, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Romen Jackson, who scored seven points along with three steals.
It was another big night for Trevor Hennig, who shot 4-for-5 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds for Mount Si. Hennig is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Latt Ford was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds.
North Creek dropped their record down to 8-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Mount Si, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Creek will challenge Eastlake at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Eastlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Monday. As for Mount Si, they will head out on the road to face off against Skyline at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Skyline's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
