The Elida Tigers lost against the Grady Bronchos back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. Elida lost to Grady on the road  by a decisive  58-40 margin. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Elida in their matchups with Grady: they've now lost three in a row.
 Elida's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Seth Jimenez, who  scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was  Seth Smith, who  scored nine points.
 Grady's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Zane Rush, who  dropped  a double-double on 24 points and 11  rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  Rush has scored at least a third of Grady's points.  Zander Ciancio was another key contributor,  scoring 17 points along with nine  rebounds.
 Elida's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Grady, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-4.
 Elida will take on Tatum at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Tatum has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28. As for Grady, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Des Moines at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Des Moines will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
