Given North Myrtle Beach's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Socastee is ranked 162nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
North Myrtle Beach's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Faith Farmer led the charge by scoring 14 points along with five steals. Farmer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Madison Vereen was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
