Roscoe came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Muenster Hornets with a 43-37 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Plowboys' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Hornets are ranked 116th).

Roscoe is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.9 points per game. As for Muenster, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-4 record.
