Newtown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against New Milford by a score of 71-63. The win was some much needed relief for Newtown as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Stratford suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 80-41 defeat at the hands of Kolbe-Cathedral. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Stratford in their matchups with Kolbe-Cathedral: they've now lost eight in a row.
The victory got Newtown back to even at 6-6. As for Stratford, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
